Sheliah’s Mission

Sheliah is on a mission to help individuals overcome the victim mentality in order to achieve success in their personal and professional lives. She has a deep passion for serving underrepresented high school and college students and young women, helping them feel seen, valued and capable. On this journey, she has worked with various program for students and athletes, focused on college and career readiness. Additionally, she has used her 13+ years of corporate experience to partner with HR business partners and ERGs on ways to assist their organization with leadership development and professional growth.

Meet Sheliah

Sheliah graduated from Clemson University in 2012 with a degree in Accounting, while being a member of the track and field team. She is currently the owner of Intentional Growth Solutions, a leadership development firm, focused on intersecting personal development and career strategies. Sheliah started as a first generation college student and is now a motivational speaker with over 13+ years in the private sector (Accounting, HR and DE&I). She is on a mission to help underrepresented students and professionals activate their power to pursue their wildest dreams. 

Most recently, her speaking abilities has allowed her to share wisdom with several academic and professional organizations. She has been a keynote speaker and panelist for: Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers, Clemson University Football Team, National Black MBA Association, University of Georgia, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, and Westside High School (SC).

Sheliah knows what it is like to feel overlooked and undervalued in the spaces where you give so much of our time and talents. Because of this, her goal is to help underrepresented students and professionals get unstuck and go after their best lives.

Away from the mic…

When she is not speaking or mentoring, Sheliah enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, Harper. She is an active member at her church where she and her husband serve as the Assistant Directors of Spiritual Development. Most weekends, she can be found mentoring young women or soaking up the wonderful presence of family and friends.
